Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24 on the 24th of July, 1992) is a Canadian-born actress. She was the character Felicity on The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was raised within British Columbia. As a child, Rickards began her professional career with the musical theater and later dancing. In later years, she was hoping to introduce herself to professional acting. The path to her career began in the early after she completed high school, and then attended Vancouver Film School. Vancouver Film School. There she took the acting Essentials course. After completing the program, she attended an open call audition and was able to get her an agent. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was where she learned. Initially signed as a single-episode guest star, her chemistry with the show's main character Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her humorous quips resulted in her being first signed as a co-star on recurring basis for the rest of the first season. Then she was signed in a role that was regular for the second season.
