Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Zoe was born in Passaic (New Jersey) on 19th June 1978. Her father is Dominican while her mother is Puerto Rican. Her mother is Puerto Rican and her father is Dominican. The family she was born into moved to Dominican Republic at the age of 10 where they would be for seven years. Zoe started to discover a love for performance dance while she was living in Dominican Republic. In the highly regarded ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy Zoe was taught ballet along with other forms of dancing. It was an excellent outlet for an enthusiastic, active youngster. However, it turned out to be also a fortunate start to her professional career. At age 17, Zoe and her family relocated to her home in the United States where her love for dancing grew and her enthusiasm for theater performances grew greater. Zoe isn't just holding her own in big motion picture productions but gained recognition and admiration of industry experts like Jerry Bruckheimer and Steven Spielberg and actresses/actors like Tom Hanks, Bernie Mac, Keira Knightley, Ashton Kutcher, Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom. As she has been told by the majority of her co-stars producers and directors, the sky is no limit for this young star who has incredible range as well as a fervent focus and a steely determination to be involved with projects that challenge her professionally with a wide range of issues and personalities. She is featured in the film by Focus Features, The Outfit 2022, directed by Graham Moore. She stars opposite Mark Rylance & Dylan O'Brien. For this role, she was nominated to win the "Best Supporting Actor" award in 2022 at BIFA. The next step is that Deutch will re-team with writer Katie Silberman for their second romantic comedy, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch collaborated with Silberman on Set It Up, Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
