Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. She was born Patsy McClenny, on February 3 in 1950. The actress gained fame in the latter part of the 1970s and into the into the 1980s when she played roles in several television series that she displayed a glamorous appearance. Fairchild was first noticed with the character Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow, which was a CBS daytime soap that ran from 1973 until 1977. Following her appearance in Dallas in which she played Jenna Wade as the very first primetime actress she was then a part of the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this performance, she won a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for Best Actress for a Television Series - Drama. Fairchild was on ABC's short premiertime soap Paper Dolls and also on the NBC soap opera Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild is also an actor on stage and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series. Additionally, she is an SAG-AFTRA Board member. Lawson was an Louisville Kentucky native born to the father of a hotel manager and a Kentucky homemaker mom was able to develop a love for acting as early as age eight. After eight years, Lawson started performing in local theaters. After graduation from an all-girls Catholic high school. Maggie Lawson began her career at the age of eight initially performing in theatrical productions. After 15 she moved her home to Los Angeles, where her debut television pilot was filmed.
