Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. She was born Patsy McClenny, on February 3 in 1950. The actress gained fame in the latter part of the 1970s and into the into the 1980s when she played roles in several television series that she displayed a glamorous appearance. Fairchild was first noticed with the character Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow, which was a CBS daytime soap that ran from 1973 until 1977. Following her appearance in Dallas in which she played Jenna Wade as the very first primetime actress she was then a part of the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this performance, she won a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for Best Actress for a Television Series - Drama. Fairchild was on ABC's short premiertime soap Paper Dolls and also on the NBC soap opera Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild is also an actor on stage and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series. Additionally, she is an SAG-AFTRA Board member.
