Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on the 5th of February 1964. She is an American actor best known for her ability to portray tough characters, but also vulnerable. Linney was raised in a family of actors her father was a playwright, Romulus Linney. In 1986, she graduated in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City. In 1990, she began in her Broadway career. The audience praised her for the two shows Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
